FAQ’s

1. Who is eligible to apply?
A. Any Graduate – Medical or Non-Medical with minimum 50% of marks and minimum 45% with respect to S.C/ S.T candidates.

2. What is the duration of the course?
A. The MBA (HHCM) is Online-Distance Learning (ODL) course of two years (consisting of four semesters).

3. What is the admission procedure?

A. Admissions are strictly based on marks/ranks secured in MBA (HHCM) Entrance Test conducted by Dr. BRAOU. Advertisement in this regard will be released in the last week of April or first week of May every year. A candidate needs to apply online on the university website. The candidate can view structure of the program, model question paper on the university website www.braou.ac.in/ www.braouonline.in.  and www.apolloihcm.ac.in

4. When is the entrance examination conducted and when does course start?
A. Entrance examination is generally conducted in the middle of June every year. The course will commence from first week of August.

5. What does entrance exam consist of?
A. It consists of Written Examination, group discussion with personal interview and is evaluated for 150 marks, which consists of five (5) sections, each section carries 20 marks. The selection is based on the marks secured in the entrance test conducted by Dr. BRAOU

The minimum qualifying mark in the written test is 25% for General & B.C candidates. Only candidates passing in the written examination will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

6. What are the career prospects?
A. These are enormous career opportunities in health Care Sector. This programme aims at preparing young and bright graduates for challenging careers in health care organizations like Corporate Hospitals, Insurance Companies, NGO’s, Diagnostic centers, E-health Companies, Health Care IT, Public Health organizations etc.

7. Is there a Sponsored quota?
A. Total there are 78 seats . Out of which 60 seats are under General Quota and 18 seats are under Sponsored Quota. Candidates need to apply separately for Sponsored Quota. Those who have at least 2 years  of experience in  Health Care Organizations and who are working can be Sponsored by the Organizations under Sponsored Quota.
